Welcome to my world!!!!

Welcome to my world!!!!
This is the life that I'd like to have........carefree & relaxing!

This is ME!

I'm more of a listening person. If i don't converse much with people or friends, doesn't mean I'm arrogant. Sometimes just don't know what to say.....or sometimes I take more time to process info! Like my bubs calls me, "Fish brain". Duh....SLOW! Hehehehehe..;) It's hard to read my mind coz I don't open up much regarding my feelings....only ppl who know me very well knows. Overall, I'm care free on the outside....but always thinking and worrying on the inside. I'm so lucky to have Michael in my life! He makes my days more enjoyable and purposeful. You'll be seeing more of him in my blog posts.

Places we went in Singapore

These are our fun times at Sentosa!!!! We went on the glass cable car; saw the Merlion; went to the underwater world; went on the Luge (tried drifting and racing it...hahahaha!) and sky lift; saw a dolphin show, etc. Although our feet were blistered from all the walking, we had a excellent time!

Chinatown a place with cheap, interesting and authentic stuff! Love to shop there....especially buying Christmas presents for my colleagues way in advance.

At Clarke Quay we went twice (1st time alone and the other with Eileen and Edmund) to try out the "Shisha" at the Meerikesh bar. It was flavoured tobacco....we tried the apple and grape flavour. Edmund (red EVo 9) happen to park next to another EVO 9 (pink EVO 9) at the carpark. It has changed heaps! There are new bars open with very interesting concepts. I recommend all tourist to check that place out.

M.O.S. (Ministry of Sound) is one of the more popular clubs that Singaporeans go to during the weekend. It's HUGE! There's like a R&B room, a 80s music room, a trance music room, several tastefully decorated private rooms, a V.I.P room and the main dance hall. We had ball that night! Eileen brought another of her friend visiting from Melbourne (his name is Atul). Here are some pictures that we took in my room while waiting for Eileen and Edmund to pick us up....obviously we got bored. Hahahahahaha!

It took us a while to get to Pasir Ris park just for fishing. I was mainly the camera/video person. Michael had 3 goes at trying to catch a fish. Finally at his 3rd try, he manage to catch 1 fish after 2hrs (think it's called a finger mark fish). He was proud of his catch! When we got home, he scaled and gutted the fish like a professional and cooked it. It was yummy!!!! I'm proud of him too.

Driving to the zoo was another ordeal for us....but eventually we got there. Mosquito repellent is an essential when going on the Night Safari. You don't want those blood suckers to get you!!!! The "Creatures of the night" show was impressive. It is a must to visit the zoo when you're in Singapore for the 1st time.

Mount Faber is a nice relaxing place to chill out, have drinks and enjoy the scenary. Unfortunately, we went there a little too late....it was closing. So we just had a look around and take some pictures.

We mainly covered all the shopping centres in Orchard Rd and went to Sim Lim Square and Funan centre to look for electronics. The most frequently visited shopping place is Lucky Plaza where Michael went to practice his bargining skills. In the end, he got what he wanted! Also, we discovered the biggest shopping centre where we did most of our shopping too....it's Vivo city.

Our eating adventures in Singapore 2007.

Michael he loves his food! He is always hungry! Here are pics of his/our eating adventures in Singapore 2007. Hehehehehe...;) His favourite drink is Bundungcino...ever since I brought him to try the Bundungcino at the NUS 24hr prata place, he fell in love with the drink!

Eileen and Edmund took us to try the River Valley fish steam boat. Look! He's eating this sea snail called "Gigi". It gave him stomachache the next day hey! Hahahahahaha!

Haagen Daaz dessert! Yummy!
Japanese BBQ at St. James power house with Eileen and Edmund.
After, we went to PS Cafe at Dempsey to try out the desserts.

Fosters @ Holland Village with my dad.
WAH! Is that paper prata or paper tissue prata??!!

Hahahaha....must at least try the fast food in Singapore! And in Australia we call it "Hungry Jacks" not "Burger King". We also had Macs. The Macs delivery in Singapore is hardcore hey! The best and most efficient.

My dad brought us to East Coast park to try some seafood. My dad's favourite place is called "Jumbo seafood restaurant". We ate the famous chilli crab and drunken prawns.

Look at my collection of Dim Sum food! We're at Vivo city's Kopitiam food court.

We even tried the super expensive food at the zoo before going to night safari. The fish burger I had wasn't too bad.

On the last day in Singapore, I brought Michael to the Botanical gardens food court. We tried the Indian rojak and some Indian rice dish that he is obviously enjoying. Slurp! Slurp!
