Welcome to my world!!!!

Welcome to my world!!!!
This is the life that I'd like to have........carefree & relaxing!

This is ME!

I'm more of a listening person. If i don't converse much with people or friends, doesn't mean I'm arrogant. Sometimes just don't know what to say.....or sometimes I take more time to process info! Like my bubs calls me, "Fish brain". Duh....SLOW! Hehehehehe..;) It's hard to read my mind coz I don't open up much regarding my feelings....only ppl who know me very well knows. Overall, I'm care free on the outside....but always thinking and worrying on the inside. I'm so lucky to have Michael in my life! He makes my days more enjoyable and purposeful. You'll be seeing more of him in my blog posts.

Yummy fish jelly

What a delicately made fish jelly! Auntie Margaret gave it to my mum. I found it rather amusing. The tail is missing is because my mum ate it. Hehehehehe....;) Although it looks too good to eat, I had a taste anyway. Not too bad!

Little kittens

Yesterday, Michael's mum found some baby pics of Krams and girl Krams. How cute are they!!!! CUDDLES!!!!

Sar Kor Po's birthday celebration

The birthday gal!!!! How old is she???? Although Sar kor po is 90 years old, she's still going strong.

The birthday celebration was held at Ambassador chinese restaurant along Manning Rd. Here are some snapshots of the night.

The traditional Chinese birthday bun. LOVE the lotus paste!!!! Haven't had that for a while. How clever is Auntie Margaret..... she made a little party gift for the guests that turned up for Sar Kor Po's birthday dinner. She was so secretive of what's inside. However, Michael guessed it straight away when he smelt it. It is a miniature pandan cake in there. Hehehehehe......;)

Here comes the birthday cake! "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday Sar Kor Po!!!! Happy birthday to you!"

Kristos the great helper with the birthday cake. He wanted to present the cake to his grandmother.

Give us a SMILE Sar Kor Po!!!!

Last picture for the night! Hope Sar Kor Po enjoyed her birthday dinner.

Congratulations!!!!

Let me present to you Mr & Mrs Aguiyi-Ironsi!!!!

Congrats Nadya!!!! You are a very brave, strong- willed, determined and capable lady. The location, weather and atmosphere was perfect for your wedding day. It was nice, simple and elegant. I'm really happy for you and Robbie. Follow your heart and live your life to the fullest!!!! Don't worry, be happy.

Visitors from Sydney

YAY!!!! Aminah (best friend from Sydney), Noah and Jad came to visit. I've not seen them for a long time. Jad has grown up so much...... I've known him since he was a baby. I remember singing nursery rhyme songs to Jad when he was still in Aminah's tummy and singing to him when he was in his cot. Noah is a new member of the family...... he's so CUTE and a big boy too!!!! Guess how old he is???? 10 months old.

Happy and memorable times we spent together!!!!

Poor Noah was woken up from his afternoon nap by Jad. That's why he looked soooooo grumpy with wrinkles all over his face.... hehehehehehe..... ;) Jad was being a nice brother though...... after he said, "Sorry!" and tried to make Noah feel better by showering him with toys and kisses.

Jad was showing me his game that he was playing in his room. He was getting a little mischievous so I drew him a Freddo Frog picture for him to colour in. Look how proud and happy he is with his colouring in!!!! Hehehehehehe..... ;)

Trip down south

Friday (13th April 2007) Michael, Jessy, Carl and I went down south. We mainly travelled around the Busselton/Dunsborough area.

This is where we stayed......... at the Peppermint Park Eco Village. A very affordable, comfortable, peaceful and nice place to stay. I would recommend anyone who is looking for accommodation down south. (http://www.peppermintpark.com.au/)

Once arriving at Peppermint Park, we got ourselves organized and made our way to Canal rocks to start fishing. Jessy and I went exploring around the rocks. We founds some crabs lingering among the crevice. Apparently, someone that has been fishing there for a while told us that we might be able to spot eels in the small rock pools. The scenery was beautiful too!

The guys were surveying and finding the best fishing spot. However, no luck! All they caught were seaweed. Hehehehehhehe.....;)

Then we head down to the famous Busselton jetty. We spotted a few schools of fish swimming past. Unfortunately, that night the fish weren't interested in our bait. I guess we'll try again tomorrow.

This is Day 2 of our trip. We woke up at 5am to try our luck at Canal rocks again. It was pitch black when we got there..... so the boys went off to do their fishing first, while Jessy and I had a little snooze in the car.

When the sun came up, Jessy and I decided to go look for the boys. We had to do some serious rock climbing to get to them. Good morning exercise though. Hehehehehehe..... ;)

After a few hours of fishing, my bubs caught 3 buff breams and a few strings of seaweed. Carl almost caught a giant squid a few times.

During our time at Canal rocks, we spotted a mother seal with 2 of her cubs basking in the sun. Can you spot the seals??!!

Before leaving, we captured a few more beautiful sights of Canal rocks.

Next stop is Smiths beach. We had a short stop there to check the place out. What a morning! The boys looks a little grumpy coz they didn't catch anything decent. As for us gals we were a bit more cheerful. A few more hours of sleep makes a difference and had a great time enjoying the scenery.

YAWN!!!! Back to the Peppermint Park to have a little nap before heading back out in the afternoon.

Refreshed and ready to go!!!! Some things we did in the car while travelling to our 1st stop in the afternoon.

First stop for the afternoon is Sugar loaf rock. We couldn't fish there as the waves were too rough and the rocks look too dangerous to climb. Time to move on to the next spot!

On the way to Bunker bay, this is what we saw. A black Lamborghini Gallardo!!!! There was this event that was going on called "Bull run"..... some sort of charity event.

Finally we arrived at Bunker Bay. Off we go to find a nice fishing spot.

We heard from regular people who go and fish there that it's a great spot. Hhhhmmmm.....we don't think so....... too rocky! We kept getting snagged. Maybe we weren't in the right area. Oh well....... next destination!

Last place we're going to try for day 2 is Bunker Bay beach. I tried out my fishing hands too!

We were all screaming with excitment when we saw his rod bending like crazy. We knew he caught something. WOW!!!! It's a pretty big salmon hey! And he caught a decent size herring too.

My bubs ALMOST caught a salmon but last minute it went off the hook. You should see how upset and frustrated he was. My poor bubby!!!! Well he did catch a herring too...... but it didn't satisfy him. He want to catch a BIG salmon.

Carl is so proud and happy with his catch of the day!

This is day 3 of our trip down south..... last day before we head back to Perth. The boys went fishing at 5am in the morning in the pouring rain. How dedicated are they hey!!!! Jessy and I just wanted to sleep in. Good luck to the guys!

After we checked out of Peppermint park, we went to do some sightseeing. The 1st place is the venison farm. They have interesting variety of food products. Check out the website if you're interested. (http://www.deermark.com/) I bought their honey which contains deer antler extract. Apparently really good for your health..... not sure specifically what though.

Feroy winery is the next on our list. The rain was still pouring..... not very nice weather!

Evans & Tate is a more established winery. Looks impressive hey!

Driftwood winery..... a very cosy place. They've got a nice gallery at the top floor too. Think it's home time for us now. The boys are buggered from thier morning fishing. I was just annoyed with the rain. Final picture taken for the trip! *SMILES*
What a surprise!!!! On the drive home to Perth, I bumped into Aidwina, Sharon, Steven and family. I knew we would see each other somehow Aidwina...... hahahahaha!!!! Hope u enjoyed ur trip and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!! It's good to see you again Sharon. Take care and keep in touch yah!
