Another try at perming my hair.

I am totally sick of my straight hair..... I WANT A CHANGE!!!! So I decided to have another try at perming my hair. The first time I permed my hair was a disaster. This time it's so much better. The curls turned out better. I hope after a week the curls will loosen a bit more and become more of a "natural" curl look. I know for a fact that my mum hates my permed hair.

I still have to get used to the curls and experiment different ways that I can do up or style my curly hair. These pics were taken when i just came out of the salon. I asked them to pin up my fringe coz it was annoying my eyes. I think I look alright.... still need to get used to the curly look. You think straight OR curly hair suit me better???? My future flower girl.

Meet Clarrisa..... she's my neighbour's daughter. Isn't she just adorable!!!! I just want to cuddle her all the time. I told myself that when I get married in the future, I would love her to be my flower girl.

Dress up party- Cartoon characters.

On the 28th July 2007, Saturday, my bubs and I attended Raffas' and Hamer's birthday dress up party. The theme was Cartoon characters. It was hard finding a costume hey!

So here we go in search of our costumes for the night. My bubs straight away fell in love with the Teletubbie costume. As for me, I don't think the Monsters Inc costume is what I had in mind. Hahahahahahaha!!!! Well, off to another costume shop to find something more attractive looking.

Ahhhh....at last we are dressed and ready to go to the dress up party. That's more like it.....I am Cat Woman!!!! And beside me is my Green Teletubbie (Tipsy). Here are some pics we took before we left the house.

At the party, there's an electronic bucking bull too. Here are some pictures of my bub, some other people at the party and myself giving it a go. It can get quite violent when the bull is set to buck and spin at level 5 onwards. I fell off at level 2 or 3. My knuckles and fingers were bruised after a few tries. It was fun though!



The dress up party was awesome!!!! It is my first dress up party I've been to as well!!!! Definitely looking forward to another one....... Wooooo Hooooooo!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday Jessy!!!!

Last Saturday (21st July 2007) we went to Jade Dynasty Chinese restaurant to celebrate Jessy's birthday. Although it was like a week late, it's better sooner than later. It was a steamboat night. It's seldom we can find good steamboat in Perth.

The Szechuan hot & sour soup was SUPER spicy. The herbal soup was alright but some of us wasn't too keen on it. There were other weird soup bases as well.... the ones I remember is the satay and creamy cheese. Hhhhmmmm...... ;0

The AMAZING, the ONE & ONLY...... CHRISTINA AGUILERA!!!!

On the 14th of July 2007, Saturday, Satomi and I were all dolled up and ready to go watch Christina Aguilera in action- Back to Basics tour.

Look at the massive crowd at the Burswood dome!!!! We were waiting anxiously for Christina.


Meanwhile, we had to listen to the opening band. They were not too bad.... energetic and trying to entertain the buzzing crowd. BUT WE WANT CHRISTINA!!!! Instead of listening to the opening band, Satomi and I went to grab a bite (Hamburger & Sausage roll) and checked out the Christina souvenirs. I bought one of her stripped baby blue top with Christina's face printed on it. It cost me AUS$60.... expensive hey!

Finally the opening band stopped playing and the crew was preparing the stage. We spotted a "spiderman"......think he's the camera or lighting man. He's very brave!


Here comes the band and back up singers. Woo Hoo!!!!

Christina! Christina! Christina! I can't stop screaming her name. Everyone was going crazy!

Christina's opening act. As you read along this blog post, you'll realize she has lots of costume changes for her different acts. It's an excellent concert as she sang a good mixture of her earlier/previous and "Back to basic" songs. Christina's performance is so passionate, energetic, soulful and entertaining. Her voice is just so powerful ..... it gets me all emotional!













A male volunteer was pinned up at the dart board for one of her sexy sassy songs. He is one lucky guy!!!! I wish it was me..... hahahahahahaha.... ;)

This is one of the BEST moments as she sings "Candyman". My favourite song of all time..... it never fails to get me up singing and dancing my heart out.

The finale was spectacular!!!! Encore!!!! On the right you can see Christina taking her last bow for the night. The AMAZING, the ONE & ONLY..... Christina Aguilera.

After the concert, Satomi and myself went to check out the stage. I had the chance to pose and take pictures with 2 of Christina's male dancers. They were amazing too! That's one of my dreams is to be a dancer just like them. I get to travel around the world and do what I love doing...... DANCING!

What a night!!!! I definitely recommend everyone to see Christina if she comes your way. It's well worth it. She puts her heart and soul to her performance. Satomi and I sure enjoyed ourselves!!!!
