Eventful night

First day of Chinese New Year (18th Jan 2007), we went to Metro city (a famous club in Perth) to watch a concert. (My 2007 Valentines Day present)

The performers were Natasha; K.C. & Jojo; and the highlight of the night was Boyz II Men. A very eventful night!!!!

Look at the line!!!! The doors open at 8pm. We got there around 7.30pm and the line was already massive. Well, we just had to wait patiently.



That's the crowd in the club if you look very carefully. It was packed!!!! We manage to find a good spot on the 3rd floor. Lucky us!



This is Natasha. She is apparently one of Perth's more successful female R&B singers. It was announced by the MC that she just came back from her U.S. tour. Although I've not heard of her before, she definitely has a good voice.








K.C. & Jojo..... heard of them before? I have.... they've got a few famous songs. In my opinion, their performance was a little disappointing. Basically, to me it sounds like screaming and shouting with occasional singing. There was a bit of a "strip" show too....compliments of K.C. However, it was good how he got involved with the crowd. Poor body guard has to put up with K.C.'s weight and balancing him while he was dancing around on his shoulder.

The moment I've been waiting for....... Boyz II Men!!!! I watched them in 2006 too. Their performances never disappoint. I reckon their old school song are better. For example, "End of the road"; "I make love to you"; "4 seasons of loneliness", etc. They're very interactive with their act too!

If Boyz II Men tour happen to come your way, I highly recommend to go watch!!!! They are excellent beyond words.

This will make a good meal.

This is definitely a good catch!!!! My bubs caught 5 Taylor and a small herring.

Guess what I caught???? Lots and lots of seaweed!!!! Not a good night for me to go fishing. All that time Michael spent catching those fish, I was getting NOTHING. I gave up after a few tries and decided to do something more productive. Exercise somehow came to my mind..... so I went for a few runs along the beach. Ahhhhh.....much better!

The next day, Michael's mum fried the fish. I had one and it was very tasty. Well, at least I get to eat them. Hope my lucky stars are shining down on me the next time I go fishing there. *Fingers crossed*

Chinese New Year family lunch

18th Feb 2007..... 1st day of Chinese New Year. The Kok family went to Sitella winery for lunch. My dad and Adrian went to do some wine tasting to wet their appetite before meal.

The scenery at Sitella is beautiful and very relaxing!!!! Agree????

Our family picture for Chinese New Year. It's a been a while since we've taken one. It's all GOOD!!!!

Look at all the well presented food!!!! Alvin had the steak; my dad had the salmon; I had the chicken; my mum had the fish of the day and Adrian had the rib eye. The grape juice was specially made by Sitella...... it taste like really strong Ribena!!!!

We can't forget about dessert!!!! My mum and dad shared the Hazelnut/cranberry/apple crumble. I shared with Alvin the chocolate dessert.... Yummy!!!! Adrian is not a fan of sweets.

Overall, the lunch was very satisfying and we had a few laughs too! Our stomachs felt like it was going to burst. I recommend anyone to go there..... the service there is efficient and friendly. It's not too long a drive from Victoria Park if you use Great Eastern Highway.
